SCALE THE SPACE Conference in Rovaniemi13th-15th November 2018
We welcome you to the first SCALE THE SPACE Conference to be held at Arktikum Science Centre in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland from 13 to 15 November 2018. The overall themes of the Conference are New Space, Intelligent traffic and Geodata visualization.

SCALE THE SPACE Conference will give an insight into the direction of the trends of the future, how research institutes and companies profit from space technologies. It will also be a platform for participants to discuss the current situation, challenges and advancements relating to themes mentioned above. More than 100 researchers, entrepreneurs, developers and funders from Finland and Europe are to take part in this Conference. The focus of the event is the growing space industry and the cross-disciplinary opportunities created by it. The Conference is organized by the Arctic Geoinvest network, in collaboration with the Oulu University/Sodankylä Geophysical Observatory (SGO), Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI), Finnish Geospatial Research Institute (FGI), Geological Survey of Finland and Lapland University of Applied Sciences.
